Dr. Patrick Fabiani is in charge of the Artificial Intelligence roadmap at Dassault Aviation since February 2020, and also acting as head of scientific advanced studies. From 2013 to 2020 he has been in charge of the Research policy as Scientific Director at ISAE-SUPAERO School of Engineering. From 2005 to 2013, he has been acting as Director of the Systems Control and Flight Dynamics Department of ONERA. He has been in charge of the ReSSAC autonomous uninhabited air systems laboratory and UAS projects from 2002 until 2013.

His expertise is in the domain of artificial intelligence, systems & drones. Visiting Scholar in the Robotics Laboratory at Stanford University (1997-1999) he completed his PhD in Artificial Intelligence (AI) in 1996, graduated as engineer from Ecole Polytechnique Paris in 1990, as engineer from SUPAERO Toulouse, and MSc in Automatic Control in 1992.
